I had a blast last Sunday celebrating with my good friends Eric and Heather as their third grade daughter Brooke was baptized in the pond. They had attended a Kid Splash event a year ago to start processing this huge decision with Brooke. Finally, over a spiritual conversation at Red Robin last week, where all great spiritual conversations should take place, Brooke made the decision to follow Jesus.
What I appreciate most about this was how seriously Eric and Heather took the whole process. They took their time and prayerfully asked God to lead them to help Brooke navigate this pivotal milestone in her spiritual life.
